Meet Sarah, Our Founder

Welcome to Cockle Cove Designs, where artistry meets beachcombing in every handcrafted piece.

At home in Hoboken, NJ, we create unique decor, art and gifts inspired by decades spent on Northeast beaches. Each shell is special and unique; the piece you pick is the one that speaks to your soul! Sarah's greatest passions, in addition to time on the beach and creating art, are her husband and 3 kids, their families, reading, traveling to Ocean City, NJ, Cape Cod, and the Hudson River Valley, cooking, real estate and lots of time with best friends.

Core Values

Our commitment to quality materials and sustainable practices ensures that every creation is not just beautiful, but meaningful and lasting. All shells are sourced either by Sarah, or from other women-owned small local businesses in the Northeast. We use the same mantra for this business that we do at the beach: "leave no footprint behind". You won't find plastic packaging, bubble wrap or ribbon here; we invest in 100% post-consumer recycled packaging and natural materials like organic cotton, twine and kraft paper.
